A setting is a concept in ContactsLaw that applies to a subscription or business. Settings govern the behaviour of various functionality.

Unlike policies, changes to settings take effect immediately and ContactsLaw does not retain any history. Settings are intended to be changed infrequently (typically during the initial setup of the subscription/business).
