ContactsLaw provides functionality for recording transit money in accordance with Legal Profession Regulations in certain jurisdictions. Collectively, they form the Transit Money report.

Among the details captured for transit money are:

• Date on which the money was received
• The related matter
• Contacts from whom the money was received/drawn
• Bank-State-Branch (BSB) number
• The payee contact and the name to which the funds are payable
• Amount of the cheque
• Description/purposes for which the funds are held
• Related document further describing the funds
• Whether the funds are currently held, or if they have been released
