A ContactsLaw Account is required in order to access ContactsLaw and any of its components (including third-party integrations). Accounts are managed via the Single Sign-On System.

Roles

The following roles may be held by accounts (and do not apply to any particular subscription):

  • User, an ordinary user with no special privileges.
  • Developer, a third-party software developer whose applications are registered for SSO.
  • Administrator, a CPMS staff member who can manage other accounts.

The following roles may be held by accounts in respect of a particular subscription:

  • User, an ordinary user with a corresponding member profile which grants access to the subscription.
  • Manager, the subscriber or someone nominated by them who manages access to the subscription (e.g. adds/removes other accounts).
  • Guest, a client who has been granted guest access to the subscription. Guest users have only limited access within the subscription.
