Quote Template

Quote templates are created in workgroups to streamline the process of adding quotes to matters.

Properties

Quote templates have the following properties:

• Description
• Scale (set on the quote)
• Whether to automatically apply the template to new matters

Quote Template Items

Quote templates can include all of the same items as quotes; however they cannot specify the amount charged for products or disbursements (as this is determined by their charge policies).

On Matters

When adding a new quote to a matter, you can choose to start with an empty quote or use a quote template. You can select from the templates associated with the current workgroup, or any of its parent workgroup(s).

You can convert an existing quote into a template (requires permission to manage the workgroup).
